Red Sea Salt is the only salt formulation offered today that is derived principally from a living sea. -
All marine organisms have evolved in, and are adapted to, the natural marine environment as found in the sea; more particularly in the coral reef. Although the salinity of natural seawater varies geographically, natural seawater contains over 70 chemical elements in a ratio that is remarkably constant all over the world. -
The aim of every marine aquarist is to create and maintain an artificial environment that replicates the natural environment as closely as possible. - Correct filtration, suitable lighting, balanced stocking and appropriate feeding are essential factors, however the basis of any successful aquarium is the water itself and maintenance of its delicate chemical balance. -

Sera marine salt
Sera sea salt is a natural mixture of pure minerals and trace elements.
Sera sea salt dissolves within a few minutes without clouding the water.
It is available in handy package sizes that make it easy to use the correct amount for a partial water change.
The new formula of sera sea salt ensures crystal clear conditions in saltwater. Its excellent homogeneity and uniform grain size rapidly dissolves to form crystal clear saltwater.
It has natural GH and KH values, and is rich in calcium and magnesium in a biologically correct ratio.
The natural buffer system in sera sea salt maintains the pH value precisely and ensures that it stays within the correct range.
Through a specially developed process, sera sea salt contains trace elements that keeps them dissolved permanently. Therefore they remain available for a long time.
Sera sea salt does not contain any artificial ingredients that activate the protein skimmer, and it is free from nitrates, silicates and phosphates. .
